Redzone festival celebrates freedom of expression in art and culture on an international stage. It aims to help art and artists to expand creative expression without reprisal. For the Redzone festival 2021 edition, CultureResource, in partnership with Kirkelig Kulturverksted, has appointed Rasha Salah to be the director and curator of this edition “inner spaces”. Rasha Salah invites you to explore the inner spaces that shaped us during this year through the eyes of the 32 selected artists from the Arab region, whose perspectives oscillate between introspection and claustrophobia. Processing the collective experience of being disconnected, the artists share calm and anxiety, creativity and emptiness, melancholy and anger.
